Orient Corporation has established its name in the fire suppression industry as a pioneer in revolutionary breakthroughs.
Orient Corporation initiated partnerships to build innovative manufacturing facilities in United States, Taiwan, Malaysia, Luxembourg, Germany and Singapore in achieving this goal. Supported with a strong team of R&D Engineers at our United States, Luxembourg, and Singapore facilities in conducting various fire tests required for Underwriters Laboratories (UL) Listing and Factory Mutual (FM) and various European and Russian Approvals to develop Orient’s Clean Agent Fire Extinguishing Systems.
Orient’s Chemical Plant produces a range of ODS substitutes and clean agents including Orient 227®, a trademark of Orient’s HFC-227ea (Heptafluoropropane) and Orient 5112TM, a trademark of Orient FK-5-1-12 (Dodecafluoro-2-methylpentan-3-one). Orient 227® & Orient 5112TM are mainly used as a fire suppression agent in various high value premises that require full room total flooding application. It is environmentally safe to ensure protection and well-being of anyone in the immediate area and best used in fire hazard areas containing A, B, & C classes of fire. It has been approved by US EPA and ISO for its safe characteristic and efficacy on fire extinguishing. Both agents are UL listed and FM approved, and comply with ASTM D6064 and NFPA 2001. Concurrently, our Heavy Machinery group manufactures a range of products that include ISO Tanks, Pressure Vessels, Storage Tanks and Precision Valves complying with International Standards & Approvals.

In addition to maximizing its ability to resist corrosion due to changes in the weather and other natural and external factors, the mechanical properties present in Stainless Steel help prevent rust formation and protect any underlying metal.
Studies have shown that Stainless Steel contains incredible mechanical properties that provide substantial metal upgrades in terms of strength, hardness, and most importantly, corrosion resistance. Its ability to survive and thrive oxidation in a corrosive or humid environment makes it the most suitable material to be used for Fire Suppression Systems over long periods of time, and not to mention that it is often regarded as the least expensive choice in terms of durability to cost ratio.
